SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Bespoke Real Estate Advisors has been announced as project manager for development of a new senior living facility on behalf of St. Michael’s Health Group, a non-profit organization providing senior care in Canada. This large-scale development in Spruce Grove, Alberta will comprise 170 individual resident suites when completed, with a valuation of $50.6M Canadian.
Construction commenced this fall, with an anticipated completion by spring of 2023. This modern facility will offer seniors Independent living with supportive services, and the ability to undertake a second phase of development in the future.
This new assignment continues to expand and deepen the relationship between St. Michael’s Health Group and Bespoke REA, who began working together in early 2019. Laird Kulak, Bespoke’s Co-Managing Partner in Canada, will provide local oversight of all aspects of the development, and will be supported by his Co-Managing Partner, Lonnie Homenuk, currently residing in Tampa, Florida, but originally from Edmonton, Alberta.

As this is a greenfield development, Bespoke has been enlisted to facilitate all aspect of a major real estate development project. Before the construction began, Bespoke additionally provided help with securing financing and many other key contracts, which have been crucial to ensure compliance with a variety of governing bodies and to meet benchmarks for the construction timeline. Bespoke is currently working alongside SMHG to oversee the many aspects of construction that have been tailored to SMHG’s needs.
