Bob Aranyi is the founder and principal of De Novo Development, a commercial real estate developer, broker,
and development consultant with extensive experience in healthcare, retail, mixed-use, and senior housing
development projects throughout the United States.

Bob brings substantial expertise in the acquisition, redevelopment, leasing, ground-up construction, and
repositioning of healthcare and retail real estate assets. His work has focused particularly on medical users,
including dialysis, dental, behavioral health, autism treatment, and ambulatory surgery center operators.

His current development initiatives include grocery-anchored retail opportunities throughout the Mid-Atlantic
region, ambulatory surgery center projects nationwide, expanded relationships with dental, dialysis, behavioral
health and autism providers, and emerging tenant groups seeking growth-oriented real estate development
opportunities.

• Developer and operating partner for The Residences of Merrillville Lakes, a 20-acre ground-up development consisting of 356 senior apartment units in Merrillville, Indiana.
• Conversion of an industrial building to retail use at 1158 W. Belmont Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
• Acquisition and renovation of retail and residential space at 5028 N. Clark Street in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood; property sold in 2019.
• Renovation and repositioning of 5531 N. Clark Street in Chicago, featuring retail and new residential units anchored by Chase Bank and Hair Cuttery; property sold in 2017.
